I loved the movie from the point of view of production and costume design - I will love Tim Burton forever for his visuals! But I found the ending a bit jarring, maybe I'm just a bubblehead but it just depends on how you see things really! |

I THOUGHT THE ENDING IS A GREAT ENDING ...
LEAVING THINGS OPEN FOR A SEQUEL.
IT IS A TOTALLY USE YOUR IMAGINATION ENDING.BEYOND DISBELIEF -TIME TRAVEL REALITY.
ONCE YOU UPSET THE TIME CONTINUUM - ALL THINGS CHANGE AND CHANGE AGAIN.
I SAW THE FILM TWICE IN THE THEATER , OWN THE
DVD AND IT FINALLY CAME TO ME ABOUT THE SEQUEL WATCHING POA ON HBO.
AFTER FIVE OF THE FIRST SERIES.. HOW COULD THERE BE ONLY ONE NEW POA. JUST THINK MORE LIMITED EDITION MARK WAHLBERG DOLLS TO COLLECT. I SAY RETURN TO POA, POA THE RETURN OR SOMETHING. |

Being that I was an extra in the movie I give you a question about the ending.
During the movie the planet he was on had 2 moons, when he went back he was shown flying past Jupiter and other planets back to Earth.WE were even told that the planet was not Earth by Tim Burton. Then how is it when he returns to Earth the apes have taken over there?Hmmmmmmmmmm.
In my opinion Tim Burton really screwed up this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Just to let you all no matter what you say about Tim Burton and how off beat this movie might have been. His movies are always gonna be off beat. Just like Baz Lummerman(the director of Moulin Rouge and Romeo and Juliet-'96 version). You put both of them together and have them both direct a movie and then you know its gonna be a crazy movie. So beware and have some fun with Mr. Burton's ideas if there is gonna be a sequel. |
